6.4L Diesel Fuel Injector (2010-08)

BEFORE YOU INSTALL

Test fuel for contamination. If any is found, clean the entire fuel system prior to installing any new components

Tighten injector hold down clamp bolt to 38n.m (28 ft.lbs torque)

Pretighten fuel line fitting at injector first, then fuel rail at 2n.m (18 in.lbs)

Final tightening of the fuel line fittings at 12n.m (106 in.lbs)

Verify copper washer from old injector was not left in the injector cup
