Tech Tip: The Throttle Position Sensor must be clocked properly before installation

Before installation, fully rotate the sensor’s internal rotor counterclockwise with a screwdriver. This will ensure proper positioning. Failure to clock the part will result in the part being installed 180-degrees from the correct position.

Align sensor with throttle body shaft at 2 o‘clock position. Slowly rotate Sensor counterclockwise until upright. Align the sensor locating tab with the hole in the throttle body and press the sensor onto the throttle body.
